Chef Adi Wiriwan
Chef Adi started his culinary journey in 2009 and worked in various sushi restaurants all around the Southeast in states such as Georgia, Tennessee, and Mississippi before settling down in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.
Marrying his love for the grill and his extensive 16 year experience in sushi, Izakaya Ko was born. What was originally a pop-up called Tori Yoshi evolved into a casual brick and mortar that offered both the sushi and yakitori experience. His signature omakase set showcases this- each tasting experience alternates between bites of fresh, buttery fish and smoky, juicy skewers for his guests.
Fun fact: our yakitori tare sauce is aged 5 years. Each yakitori shop has their own unique tare sauce and no two shops taste the same!
